The World Organization for Relief Logistics Development is an international group of logistics and related practitioners dedicated to the improvement of relief logistics through the provision of logistics support in the form of personal services and the sourcing / solicitation / purchase and provision of required logistics services, equipment and relief materials.

As well, these individuals will use their unique abilities and knowledge to provide logistics related equipment, services and relief materials to these agencies to support and enhance their core functions.

Relief activities are an area in which logistics assistance will firstly lead to an increase in the overall efficiency of these organizations by expediting initial logistics support for disaster relief, and secondly by reducing logistics costs to ensure the maximum application of donated funds to the true Relief goals of those organizations.

WORLD will achieve its objectives through the creation of a worldwide listing of logistics and related practioners to provide critical logistics consultative and negotiation support as well as key supply/resource information to expedite the planning and rapid implementation of logistics activities for relief missions throughout the world.
