WORLD - Logisticians Without Borders - Status Update on Daily Bread Food Bank WMS Project

Toronto, June 1, 2006 - The World Organization for Relief Logistics Development (WORLD) today provided an update on the Daily Bread Food Bank Warehouse Management System project. The WMS systems provider has been changed and we are working to configure the Radcliffe Systems ROC warehouse management system for the project. This configuration is taking longer than expected and has led to a significant delay in the project and start-up is now not expected until mid 2006. Additionally, Paxar have agreed to donate several thousand labels for both barcode printing and pre-printed license plate purposes. WORLD continues to work with the DBFB to assist with these changes through the volunteer efforts of Jim Tomaljko and Jeff Ashcroft. As well, we're pleased to advise that Sam Lampropoulos of DC Solutions has also now joined the volunteer team at WORLD to assist with the WMS implementation at the DBFB.
